Vladislav Tereshchenko is a research engineer in digital manufacturing and the transformation of production systems. MSc in Manufacturing (Wrexham Glyndŵr University, Wales, UK). Senior Lecturer at the Higher School of Advanced Digital Technologies, Advanced Engineering School “Digital Engineering”, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU). Develops production models and simulation systems for testing management decisions.
At Hattatsu Group he is responsible for the digital side of the project: the production model for testing scenarios, the diagnostics of the management team, and the personnel training and certification platform Hattatsu LMS.

What he does in the project
Testing a scenario on a model before changing the line
The production model calculates material requirements (MRP), work-centre load (CRP), bottlenecks and cash flow. A change to batch sizes, routing or schedule is run in simulation first; the shop floor is changed only after the model has shown the result.
Assessing management team readiness
Plant managers make decisions in a production simulation; these decisions are used to build a team profile and a list of risks before the project starts.
Sustaining the system after implementation
Training programmes for supervisors and operators, certification on Hattatsu LMS, and an assistant agent for procedures and equipment documentation.
